Bruce Springsteen backs Kamala Harris, warns against Trump’s return

Joining a growing list of celebrities endorsing Vice President Kamala Harris, rock legend Bruce Springsteen has openly backed her presidential campaign while delivering a stark warning about former President Donald Trump.
In a brief video shared on his Instagram, Springsteen expressed his worries about the deep divisions plaguing the country today, urging voters to choose a leadership that prioritizes unity and inclusivity.
Known for his songs that celebrate the American spirit, Springsteen emphasized that Harris and her running mate, Tim Walz, stand for a vision of America that includes everyone.

“They are committed to a vision of this country that respects and includes everyone, regardless of class, religion, race, your political point of view or sexual identity,” he remarked, underscoring his belief that their leadership aligns with the US he has long sung about over his 55-year career.
For Springsteen, this vision is essential to healing the political and social rifts the nation faces.
One user approved and commented, “This is a reasoned, well-thought out, and well articulated argument in support of the defense of Democracy and the idea of America.”
While showing support for Harris, the “Dancing in the Dark” hitmaker did not hesitate to critique Trump, labeling him as the most dangerous presidential candidate he has encountered.
Springsteen’s commitment to Democratic candidates has been steadfast over the years, as he utilizes his platform to advocate for progressive values. His disapproval of Trump is well-documented, with Springsteen frequently articulating his concerns regarding the former president’s policies and rhetoric.
He further voiced serious concerns about Trump’s leadership, suggesting that the former president lacks a true understanding of American values.
Springsteen also pointed out Trump’s disregard for the Constitution, democracy and the peaceful transfer of power, arguing that these factors alone should prevent Trump from ever returning to the presidency.
In a show of solidarity, Jessica Alba, Demi Lovato and other stars recently attended a fundraiser for Harris. The star-studded events held in Los Angeles and San Francisco collectively raised an impressive $55 million. Other notable celebrities supporting Harris include Taylor Swift and Olivia Rodrigo, further highlighting the extensive backing she has garnered in her campaign.
