This special is set to air on Oct. 29, exclusively on Netflix, and will be filmed at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles – a fitting venue for the conclusion of her global tour.
For fans who couldn’t attend the sold-out concerts, this special offers a chance to witness Rodrigo’s powerhouse performances from the comfort of their homes.
Netflix’s official announcement promised that fans can expect a rollercoaster of emotions, from tears to joyful screams, as Rodrigo’s music takes center stage.
“Prepare to scream, cry, dance, and sing your heart out to songs from her latest album, GUTS, and her debut album, SOUR,” the announcement teased.
In a statement, the “Drivers License” hitmaker expressed her excitement about the concert special.
“I am so excited to share the GUTS World Tour with my fans,” she said. “For those of you who didn’t get a chance to rock out in-person, now you can have the best seats in the house! And to the fans who cheered, screamed, and danced with me, I am so glad we get to do it all over again!”
In a playful nod to her Filipino heritage, Netflix Philippines even took to social media, referring to Rodrigo as their “pinsan” (cousin), a term of endearment often used by her fans in the country.
