Fil-Aussie R&B artist RINI unveils soulful EP, ‘Lucky 7’

Following the sultry release of his single “Your Ecstasy” in August, Filipino Australian global artist RINI has unveiled his much-anticipated EP, “Lucky 7.”

This new project marks an exciting chapter for the Filipino Australian singer-songwriter, blending R&B, funk, rock and alternative influences into a cohesive, seven-track collection.

“Lucky 7” is a deeply personal reflection of RINI’s recent years, showcasing his emotional journey through a mix of genres and raw, heartfelt lyrics. The EP combines intricate break-beats and ethereal synths with RINI’s distinctive vocals.

The EP features previously released singles “Miracle,” “Matter To You” and “Your Ecstasy,” alongside fresh tracks. The new material has earned acclaim from major media voices, including Joe Budden, who praised RINI for his innovative approach on his podcast, stating, “RINI! I love you. Finally, someone keeping the guitarist alive on the end of records.”

In discussing the EP, RINI shares, “Lucky 7 delves into my experiences and growth over the past few years. It’s a blend of R&B, funk, rock, and alternative sounds, capturing feelings of longing, nostalgia, and hope. These seven tracks are a glimpse into a larger project I’ve been developing, selected for their resonance and impact.”

The previously released single “Your Ecstasy” introduces listeners to a blend of psychedelic alt-rock with RINI’s signature sultry style, ideal for late-night listening or road trips.

The accompanying music video, featuring female lead Syd Winn, amplifies the song’s sensuality with dreamy, retro-inspired visuals. Set in a heart-shaped bed surrounded by psychedelic filters and soft lighting, the video captures the essence of the track’s ambient allure.
