“I’m from the Philippines,” she said cheerfully. The actor, without hesitation, responded, “I’m half Filipino,” much to the surprise and delight of Soberano, who reacted with a smile and said, “Oh, you are?” She then asked if he had ever visited the Philippines, to which Nakajima confirmed that he had.
