Filipino Americans for Harris-Walz to host debate viewing parties across US

LOS ANGELES – With the first presidential debate between Vice President Kamala Harris and former president Donald Trump all set for Tuesday evening, viewing parties will be held across the United States.

The Filipino Americans for Harris-Walz (FAFHW) will hold watch parties for what could be the only debate between Harris and Trump, set to air on ABC News at 9 p.m Eastern Time.

“We’ve got in-person watch parties happening in major cities across the country, or you can join us from home through our Virtual Watch Party on Zoom,” FAFHW said in an announcement listing their watch party locations in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Chicago and New York.

Meanwhile, parties organized by various Republican organizations in LA County will begin at 5 p.m. at Dave & Buster’s in Westchester, at 5:30 p.m. at Rock & Brews in Redondo Beach and at 5:45 p.m. at  963 W. Avenue J in Lancaster, with an RSVP to [email protected] required.

In Las Vegas, the Trump campaign and Nevada GOP will hold a viewing party at the Ahern Luxury Boutique Hotel.
