After a seven-year hiatus, Linkin Park is back in the spotlight, unveiling a new single, an upcoming album and an exciting world tour.

This marks the world-renowned band’s first major release since the passing of lead singer Chester Bennington in 2017.

The band kicked off this new chapter with a livestream event, where they introduced their new lineup. Joining returning members Mike Shinoda, Brad Delson, Phoenix and Joe Hahn are new faces Emily Armstrong and Colin Brittain.

Armstrong, known for her role in the band Dead Sara, steps in as the new co-vocalist. Brittain, known for his work with artists like G Flip, Illenium and One OK Rock, takes on the role of drummer.

The livestream was a treat for fans, featuring the release of Linkin Park’s new single, “The Emptiness Machine.” The accompanying music video is now available on YouTube, adding a visual layer to their fresh sound comeback after seven years, and an exclusive global livestream performance available for just 24 hours.

In addition to their musical release, Linkin Park announced the “From Zero World Tour,” a series of six arena shows in major cities including Los Angeles, New York, Hamburg, London, Seoul and Bogotá. LP Underground fan club members can access pre-sales starting Sept. 6, with general ticket sales opening on Sept. 7.

During the livestream, Shinoda led the event, noting that guitarist Alex Feder would temporarily fill in for Delson.

“This is a very special day for us,” Shinoda told the audience. “In the role of Chester Bennington this afternoon is each of you.”

The band also revealed their upcoming album, “From Zero,” set to release on Nov. 15. With a new lineup and a fresh sound, Linkin Park hopes to reconnect with their fans and make a powerful impact in this new era of their musical journey.
