Eminem’s new album has Filipino lyrics, thanks to Ez Mil
“Stoked and honored.” These were the words Filipino American rapper Ezekiel Miller, better known as Ez Mil, shared on Instagram to express his excitement and pride at being featured on Eminem’s 12th and latest album, “The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce).”
Hot off the heels of his signing with Shady Records, Aftermath and Interscope Records, Ez Mil appears on the album’s 14th track titled “Head Huncho.” This song marks his second project with the Grammy award-winning rapper. Their first joint effort was the song “Realest,” which also showcased Ez Mil’s lyrical prowess.

Recently, the Fil-Am rapper has made a striking comeback, dropping over D-Block Europe and Clavish’s “Pakistan” track, now dubbed “New York,” also under Eminem’s record label.
The news of Ez Mil’s feature has resonated deeply with fans, especially with the inclusion of Filipino lyrics in his verse. One fan commented on social media, “May Tagalog sa Eminem song. Salamat EZ for taking us there,” celebrating the cultural representation in mainstream hip-hop.
Known for his hit “Panalo,” Ez Mil included about half of his verses in Filipino: “Kwarenta-singko na kalibre o nuwebe, ‘kaw na bahala. / Sa dinami-rami mong mali, utak mo lang may tama. / Sa kitid mo mag-isip, pare, ‘la ka man lang na banat. / Naglalim-laliman, ang sarap mong ilublob sa dagat. / ‘Di kailangang magpatunay sa sinuman na nakikinig. / ‘Di masasalag ng sintido o ng iyong bibig.”
The release of “The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce)” on July 12 came just three days after Eminem teased the album cover art. The cover, which depicts Eminem’s head inside a body bag, is a direct nod to his iconic Slim Shady persona from his earlier works.
Earlier this year, Ez Mil was included in Forbes’ prestigious “30 Under 30 Asia” under the Entertainment & Sports Category list for 2024.
