Just weeks after Miss Charm Philippines 2024 and Miss Universe Philippines 2023 top finalist Krishnah Gravidez relinquished her Miss Charm Philippines crown and announced her participation in Miss World Philippines this year, the Miss Charm organization already revealed the country and date for the upcoming international pageant she has long waited for.

The pageant’s organizers took to social media last week to unveil that this year’s edition of Miss Charm will be held in the United States in August. The competition will kick off on Aug. 12, with the coronation night scheduled for Aug. 24.
“Following the resounding success of the inaugural Miss Charm 2023 season, the Miss Charm pageant has received enthusiastic attention, followership and support from everyone,” the post read.
The first-ever winner from the Philippines in this pageant was Miss Universe Philippines 2022 first runner-up Annabelle McDonnell, who also won first runner-up in the pageant’s first staging in 2023. Brazil’s Luma Russo was the first-ever Miss Charm, with Indonesia’s Olivia Tan finishing as second runner-up.
“This is not only a source of pride but also a tremendous motivation for us to continue creating memorable journeys in the future. Notably, after the first season, Miss Charm has made its mark on the international beauty map. Therefore, we are proud to announce the next journey named – Miss Charm 2024,” they added.
“The journey of Miss Charm 2024 has officially begun,” the post continued. “With the mission to promote culture, tourism and education, spreading human and positive values to society, this year’s pageant will gather outstanding representatives from various countries to converge in the United States — the ‘Land of Dreams.’ Here, they will come together to create a remarkable journey on the Miss Charm 2024 stage.”

Meanwhile, after the finals night of Miss Universe Philippines 2024, Pampanga’s Cyrille Payumo was crowned Miss Charm Philippines 2025. On the flip side, pageant fans are suggesting that MUPH 2024 semi-finalist from Northern California, Kayla Carter, should be appointed to avoid any potential issues with the US visa since the competition is happening next month.
The organization has not yet released a statement on who will compete this year following Gravidez’s resignation.
