Olivia Rodrigo adds 2 shows to ‘GUTS’ tour in California
Filipino American singer-songwriter Olivia Rodrigo just wrapped up her 50th show last week and has exciting news for her American fans eager to see her live once more.
The Grammy-award-winning artist will extend her highly anticipated “GUTS” world tour with two additional dates in the US.
Initially slated to conclude with four shows at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, the “Vampire” songstress will now perform two extra shows at the Intuit Dome in California.
Along with ‘90s alt-rockers The Breeders as opening act, Rodrigo will take the stage at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood on Aug. 20 and 21. Fans will have the chance to catch performances by Rodrigo and The Breeders at all six shows in California.
It’s a known fact that the Fil-Am singer’s favorite ‘90s band is The Breeders, as she has previously mused about how her life feels divided into two distinct chapters: before and after encountering “Cannonball” by The Breeders.
Tickets for these new dates will be available to American Express cardholders in a presale beginning Thursday, June 20, at noon and running until Friday, June 21, at 9 a.m. General admission tickets will be available to the public starting Friday, June 21, at noon through Ticketmaster.com. Additionally, a limited series of $20 “Silver Star Tickets” will be released at a later date, providing fans with an affordable option to enjoy the concert.
This extension of her tour provides a final opportunity for her American fans to experience her performances live before she heads overseas. The celebrated artist will then venture on an international tour in Asia and Australia, officially bidding farewell to her 2024 global tour.
