In an interview with Time last year, as shared by People, the “Cruel Summer” singer-songwriter revealed her intense workout regimen, which started six months before the tour kicked off in March 2023. Her unique approach included running on the treadmill while singing the entire setlist. Yes, it’s Swift herself who can ace that.

“I run fast for fast songs and jog or fast walk for slow songs,” the Grammy-singer explained, ensuring she was ready for her three-hour-long sets.

Staying disciplined, Swift also shared that she abstains from alcohol while on tour and continues to work out between shows to maintain her strength and stamina.

“I’m going on that stage whether I’m sick, injured, heartbroken, uncomfortable, or stressed,” she confirmed. “That’s part of my identity as a human being now. If someone buys a ticket to my show, I’m going to play it unless we have some sort of force majeure.”

Moreover, Swift prioritizes rest with what she calls “dead days.” During these times, she reportedly stays in bed almost entirely, only getting up to fetch food to eat in bed. She describes this as an ideal scenario, noting that after performing three shows in a row, she can barely speak and her feet make crunching sounds from dancing in heels. Despite these challenges, she feels more fulfilled than ever.
