Filipino American singer-songwriter Olivia Rodrigo recently called “Enola Holmes” actor Louis Partridge an “angel boy” on his birthday, fueling ongoing romance rumors.
The speculation about a possible relationship between Rodrigo and Partridge first gained momentum last year when the pair were seen “kissing and caressing each other” in New York City, according to US media reports. And this lowkey confirmed their status.
On Monday, the actor celebrated his 21st birthday. To mark the occasion, the Grammy-award-winning singer left a comment on his Instagram post where Partridge shared a nostalgic photo of himself as a child, complete with a French-style mustache, captioned “One beer s’il vous plaît [one beer please].”

Adding to the buzz, fans have speculated that the “Vampire” hitmaker’s song “So American,” from her Guts deluxe album, might be inspired by Partridge.
In the chorus, it goes “I’d go anywhere he goes. And he says I’m so American, oh God, I’m gonna marry him if he keeps this s–t up. I might just be in love,” which many believe hints at her feelings for the actor and that she’s currently in love.
Meanwhile, in an interview with British Vogue in March, as shared by ELLE, Partridge addressed his desire to keep his love life private, shedding light on his perspective regarding public scrutiny.
When asked about Rodrigo, he candidly commented, “Dating probably shouldn’t be done in the public eye. There’s enough going on between two people. You don’t need the voices of thousands of others in your head.”
