Gold House has unveiled its A100 list for 2024, shining a spotlight on a diverse array of personalities who have made significant impacts in their respective fields.
Among the esteemed honorees gracing the list are Hollywood icon Keanu Reeves, K-pop sensation and BTS member Jung Kook and legendary animator Hayao Miyazaki.
However, the list also celebrates the achievements of Filipino American public figures, with online gaming sensation Rachell Hofstetter, better known as Valkyrae, taking center stage as one of the A1 honorees.
The Gold House A100 list, renowned for recognizing trailblazers at the forefront of what the organization terms the “new gold age,” stands as a testament to the multifaceted contributions of Asian talent on a global scale.
Valkyrae’s rise to prominence as a live streamer and YouTuber, along with her role as co-owner of the gaming organization 100 Thieves, underscores her influence as one of the foremost figures in the gaming world. Since 2020, she has held the distinction of being YouTube’s most-watched female streamer.
Acknowledging her remarkable contributions, Valkyrae was hailed as “Gaming Creator of the Year” by Adweek in 2021 and earned a spot on Forbes’ esteemed 30 Under 30 list in 2022. Her star continues to soar, with recent endeavors including a cameo in the music video for Lay Zhang and Lauv’s newest track “Run Back to You.”

Moreover, Valkyrae is not the sole Fil-Am luminary on the A100 list. Joining her are notable figures such as Saweetie, Bella Poarch, Sesame Street’s TJ (the show’s first Fil-Am muppet), Oscar-nominated animation director Bobby Pontillas, Rosemary Palacios, Gordon Cormier, chef Tim Flores and athlete Alyssa Thompson.
This recognition follows a legacy of Filipino representation on the A100 list, with Broadway icon Lea Salonga honored as a Gold Legend last year, and 13 Filipinos featured on the list in 2022, including public figures like Rappler CEO Maria Ressa and comedian Jo Koy.
These honorees will be celebrated at the Gold Gala on May 11 in Downtown Los Angeles.
