Ylona Garcia allows fans to choose her first single from upcoming EP

Garcia hosts a stream on Twitch to showcase two unreleased songs for fans’ feedback

“My name is Ylona Garcia. I’m gonna be famous, I tell ya,” sings Ylona Garcia in her debut EP “My Name is Ylona Garcia” from 2016. These lyrics are now coming to life as the Filipino Australian singer starts to make waves internationally with her music.

The US-based artist is gearing up to release her first single from her upcoming EP next month.

Taking to her Instagram stories, the Pinoy Big Brother 737 alumna teased followers with a sneak peek of her upcoming track. Unable to choose between two potential releases, Garcia turned to her Twitch audience, treating them to a live stream where both songs were showcased for their feedback and input.

As comments poured in, one user hailed the “Oh Pag-ibig” hitmaker as “the R&B princess,” while another confessed to being torn between the two tracks, opting for “all of the above.”

Garcia was seen jumping in joy and excitement upon letting her followers listen to the songs.

Before the much-anticipated EP launch, Garcia made waves with the announcement of her international appearances. Set to headline the “We The Fest: 10th Anniversary Edition” in Jakarta, Indonesia on July 19, followed by a performance at the “Good Vibes” Festival at Resorts World Awana in Malaysia, the “Don’t Go Changing” songstress is set to captivate audiences beyond borders.

Recently, the Filipino Australian artist teamed up with Filipino American streamer Valkyrae and Fuslie for “Echoes,” and the collaboration was made possible through 100 Thieves, a lifestyle brand and gaming organization co-owned by Valkyrae herself.

The Filipino actress, who rose to fame by becoming the runner-up to Jimboy Martin in Pinoy Big Brother 737 and had her own solo concert at the age of 14, is now based in the US and signed under the music label 88rising, which also represents talents like Niki and GOT7’s Jackson Wang.
