In recent social media posts, “Sunflower” singer Post Malone couldn’t contain his admiration for the Grammy-award-winning singer-songwriter after their collaboration on the track “Fortnight” for Swift’s latest album.
The rapper-turned-singer took to both Instagram and X (formerly Twitter) to express his awe and gratitude for the opportunity to work with the billionaire and record-breaking artist.

Accompanied by a snapshot of the duo lounging on a couch, the “Circles” hitmaker’s Instagram caption read, “It’s once in a lifetime that someone like [Taylor Swift] comes into this world.”
“I am floored by your heart and your mind, and I am beyond honored to have been asked to help you with your journey,” the post continued. “I love you so much. Thank you, Tay.”
The excitement surrounding their collaboration heightened after Taylor Swift announced “Fortnight” as the album’s lead single, along with the promise of a music video, which now has over 32 million views as of writing.
Reflecting on their creative synergy, the “Cruel Summer” songstress also shared her admiration for the “Congratulations” artist’s talents and reciprocated the admiration, highlighting his prowess as a songwriter and his ability to craft melodies that linger in the mind long after the music fades.
“I’ve been such a huge fan of Post because of the writer he is, his musical experimentation, and those melodies he creates that just stick in your head forever,” she shared on Instagram.
She added, “I got to witness that magic come to life firsthand when we worked together on ‘Fortnight’.”

“Fortnight” isn’t the only track on the album to feature a guest artist. “Florida!!!” is also a collaboration with Florence Welch of Florence and the Machine.
Swift’s introspective commentary on the album’s thematic depth revealed an array of emotions, described as “fatalistic” with explorations of love, loss and the human condition.
