Filipina tennis sensation Alex Eala is proving to be unstoppable as she surges ahead in her career, achieving yet another career milestone in women’s singles tennis.

At just 18 years old, the Filipina tennis ace has soared to a new all-time high in the world rankings, now standing at an impressive #169 as she climbed three places higher.

This latest achievement follows closely on the heels of her remarkable performance earlier this year, where she catapulted eight spots to reach her previous career-high ranking in February.

The young netter’s relentless progress is a testament to her unwavering dedication and formidable talent on the court as she described herself in her “Day in the Life” YouTube video as competitive, determined and ambitious.

Partnering with 28-year-old French player Estelle Cascino, the duo emerged victorious, triumphing over top-seeded opponents Jessika Ponchet of France and Maia Lumsden of Great Britain in a thrilling tennis showdown, 7-5, 7-6 (7-4).

Reflecting on her doubles triumph, Eala took to Instagram to express her gratitude towards Cascino, emphasizing the bond they share both on and off the court.

“Whenever I play doubles, I get to play with someone who’s got my back, every step of the way!” Eala wrote. “Teaming up with [Cascino] this week means I get to share the court with a friend I can count on.”

Eala’s success in doubles adds another chapter to her burgeoning career, which saw her claim her maiden doubles title earlier this year at the ITF W50 Pune in India, alongside singles rival turned doubles partner Darja Semenistaja of Latvia.

With each victory, the Filipina athlete continues to inspire fans around the world with her talent, relentless determination and unwavering passion for the game. As she propels herself further up the ranks, the future looks brighter than ever for this rising star in the world of tennis.
