Bianca Bustamante revs up for 2024 Formula Winter Series debut
Racer Bia is now back on track!
Filipino American racing prodigy Bianca Bustamante is primed to make dashes as she gears up for her debut in the 2024 Formula Winter Series in Spain.
With the adrenaline-fueled action set to kick off, the first Filipina McLaren driver is slated to showcase her racing prowess in the first three rounds of the competition, accelerating first at the Circuito de Jerez from Feb. 9 to 11.
Following this debut, she will catapult to Valencia for the second leg of the series from Feb. 16 to 18, before conquering the iconic Aragon circuit from March 1 to 3.

In an Instagram announcement, the 19-year-old Laguna native exuded excitement, stating, “I’m super excited to share that I’ll be racing in this year’s F4 Formula Winter Series with [GRS Team].”
Bustamante added that she’s been working hard during the winter break to prepare for the upcoming F1 Academy season, and she’s “excited to be back on track for 3 out of 4 rounds in Spain.”
Expressing gratitude to her sponsors and recognizing the support from McLaren and GRS, Bustamante affirmed her commitment to harnessing every moment on the track to hone her craft further.
As anticipation reaches a fever pitch, motorsport enthusiasts eagerly await her return to the scene after the break, anticipating a display of skill and determination on the unforgiving asphalt.

“Been a busy few weeks but here we are at the first race of the year!” she shared in another post, “A side championship to prepare for F1 Academy but there’s nearly 40 cars on the grid and it’s going to be [a] battle all weekend. Elbows out, I’m ready to fight!”
