For Filipino singer-actors Juan Karlos and Kyle Echarri, their connection transcends shared moments on “The Voice Kids,” a common home province in Cebu, and their recent collaboration in the hit teen drama series “Senior High.”

Now, these two artists are poised to elevate their partnership to new heights with the release of their upcoming single “Kasing-Kasing” set to hit the airwaves on Jan. 26, Friday.

Announcing the news, the “Ere” hitmaker took to X, exclaiming, “Releasing a song with my baby boy this month!!! Update update tayo. ‘Kasing-Kasing’ by Juan Karlos & Kyle Echarri. Excited na kami na marining nyo.”

Meanwhile, the Filipino-American performer, who made the move from California to Cebu in 2014 and is known for his role in “Kadenang Ginto,” teased fans on Instagram with a Bisaya question, “Andam na ba mo?” translating to “Are you ready?”

In a humorous exchange on one of Juan Karlos’ posts, Echarri commented, “Ahak karon raman nag ingon sa date,” which translates to “Gosh, you just mentioned the date now.” To this, Juan Karlos replied, “Ako gi-text nimo” (I texted you about the date).

The “Senior High” actors’ Bisaya conversation serves as somewhat of a preview for what’s in store with the song because it also bears a Bisaya title meaning “heart.”
