From the cheerful and hospitable Pinoy staff to an aisle full of your Pinoy comfort foods, the supermarket even has parols colored in Philippine flag to make you feel that Pinoy Christmas even when abroad.
Most Filipinos reside in Sugar Land and Fort Bend County making this newest Pinoy store the perfect spot. But even for some miles away, the irresistible tangy flavor of calamansi in your sauce is worth the long drive.
For a local foodie like Bill Cunanan who drove 45 minutes to arrive in long lines, he just hopes they can “Make one on the Northside,” said Cunanan in a Chron interview.
