On Dec. 11, the search engine giant unveiled a video showcasing “the most searched moments of all time,” sending waves of excitement through the music industry and fan communities alike. 

“If the last 25 years have taught us anything, the next 25 will change everything. Here’s to the most searched moments of all time. #YearInSearch,” the caption reads. 

Among other top-searched items, such as the most searched athlete Cristiano Ronaldo, the most searched MVP LeBron James, and the most searched songwriter Taylor Swift, the spotlight for the most searched music groups firmly centered on BTS and Blackpink. These two powerhouses have not only captured hearts but also etched their names into the digital archives of internet history.

As K-pop’s magnetic influence continues to captivate a diverse global audience over the past decades, the revelation of BTS and Blackpink dominance in Google searches comes as no surprise.

Since their debut in 2013, the “Dynamite” artists have transcended the boundaries of a traditional musical act, morphing into a global cultural sensation that commands support around the world.
