The Trader Joe’s grocery chain prepares to release a fresh batch of its highly sought-after mini tote bags for summer 2026.

Set to hit stores on June 17, the latest drop introduces a striped canvas design in soft, muted tones, green, pink, blue and brown.

The mini totes continue the brand’s trend of turning simple grocery accessories into viral shopping items that frequently spark early-morning lines and rapid sellouts.

Priced at just $2.99 each, the bags remain consistent with Trader Joe’s strategy of offering affordable, limited-run merchandise that quickly gains traction among shoppers.

“The size is ideal for smaller shopping trips, to pick up those few items you forgot the first time around,” teases a press release from Trader Joe’s. “Just be sure to pick up a Tote while you can—supplies are limited.”

Demand around the mini totes has grown so strong in recent years that it has also created complications outside of stores.

The company confirmed it is actively addressing counterfeit versions circulating online, taking legal action to protect consumers from imitation products.

A representative explained that “some knockoff totes are being sold online” and emphasized that the company has “filed a lawsuit to make sure customers aren’t misled,” adding that they prioritize authenticity by selling only in official stores to ensure buyers “are getting what they paid for.”
