Cyber Monday sale: How to get the best deals

LOS ANGELES – Cyber Monday is on Nov. 27, 2023. This major shopping event that takes place the Monday after Thanksgiving each year is a great time to work your way through your holiday shopping list or to stock up on the things you need.

If you missed Black Friday and you’re in the market for new tech, home products, toys or beauty products, Cyber Monday is an excellent time to buy. Amazon and Target customers can expect deep discounts across categories including electronics, toys, home, fashion and beauty.

Amazon will spread the joy of seasonal savings throughout its Cyber Monday weekend event with festive deals from top brands like Casper, Ninja, CeraVe and Helly Hansen.

New deals will drop as often as every five minutes during select periods throughout the Cyber Monday events.

Deal notification from Alexa

Customers can get personalized deal notifications from Alexa up to 24 hours in advance on eligible items within their Wish List, Carts or Saved for Later lists. They can keep an eye on personalized deals throughout the season by saying, “Alexa, what are my deals?”

They can also ask Alexa to remind them of deals once they are live, or ask Alexa to make a purchase when a deal is available by saying, “Alexa, buy it for me.”

All season long, customers can also discover and shop incredible gifts from small businesses—including from Black-owned, woman-owned, military family-owned, Hispanic-owned, Asian & Pacific Islander-owned, and LGBTQIA-owned businesses.

Customers can also explore unique gift ideas in the Small Business Gift Guide, which features curated selections including gifts under $50, $25, toys and games, and fashion.

They can shop the “Top 100-ish gift picks” to find popular and trending products and check out customer’s most loved gifts across toys, home and electronics. They can scroll “Inspire” on the Amazon Shopping app and “Shop by Interest” to find photos and videos created by influencers, other customers and brands.

Target unveils Cyber Monday sale

Target has unveiled plans for its two-day Cyber Monday sale. Running from Nov. 26-27, the sale will feature hundreds of thousands of items up to 50% off. These items include apparel and accessories, bed and bath and select toys, plus deals on TVs, laptops and more.

Top brands include Disney, Samsung, PlayStation, Beats and many more. Customers can also expect new deals each week in-store and online throughout December for great savings the entire holiday season.

“We’re inviting all guests to save more time and money on their holiday shopping with only-at-Target offers during our two-day cyber sale,” said Cara Sylvester, Target’s executive vice president and chief guest experience officer. “However you celebrate the season, you can do it for less at Target with thousands of deals that can be picked up in store, added to your drive-up order or shipped right to your doorstep.”

Bringing the savings home has never been easier

Target customers can take the guesswork out of deal-hunting all season long with its holiday price match guarantee. The retailer will match the price on any item if it goes lower at Target through Dec. 24. In addition, Target will match select competitors’ pricing within 14 days of purchase.

Target also offers free and easy returns, including returns with drive up, on most new, unopened items within 90 days of purchase.

In addition to Sunday and Monday’s cyber deals, shoppers will continue to enjoy Target’s popular week-long holiday deals through Dec. 24 in-store and online. The holiday deals include offers on top national brands like Disney, and Target-owned brands like Wondershop.
