Take a trip down memory lane to those days when you had your first class pet with Netflix’s animated musical “Leo,” featuring Adam Sandler and a slew of iconic comedians, which, no surprise, include Jo Koy.

“Leo,” played and co-written by Sandler, unfurls the journey in the final years of his life, all through the eyes of a lizard who’s seeking the ultimate fifth-grade adventure. Available on Netflix today, Nov. 21, this animated film is for the young and young at heart.

A 74-year-old class pet (and bored) lizard, Leo suddenly realizes there’s only a year left for him to live on Earth (or his terrarium), and he doesn’t want to waste it sleeping. This is when the adventure and his daring escape begins.

Adding a touch of his cultural identity and family vibes to his show, Jo Koy is dominating Netflix, too, with two shows slated for 2024 premiere. And if that’s not enough, he’s also the voice behind Netflix’s “Monkey King.”
