In perfect sync with the release of their highly anticipated comeback single “Pantropiko,” hitting the airwaves on Nov. 17, the all-girl P-pop group BINI recently clinched an international award in Brazil.

Dubbed the “nation’s girl group,” the octet has soared to new heights by winning the International New Artist Song Award (Música de Novo Artista Internacional) for “I Feel Good” at the BreakTudo Awards 2023.

Founded in 2016, the award-giving body aims to celebrate both established and emerging stars in the local and global music scenes.

Competing against international talents, the “Na Na Na” performers outshone fellow nominees, including “Date Your Dad” by Bellah Mae, “Enough” by charlieonnafriday, “Fluo” by Sangiovanni, “I Tried” by Daniel Seavey, “Never knew a heart could break itself (acoustic)” by Zach Hood, “Nico Valdi Produciendo a Rochy” by Nico Valdi, Rochy, and “Quitate La Ropa” by La Cross.

Star Music proudly announced BINI’s win on X on Thursday, revealing that the group’s bubblegum pop performance of “I Feel Good” stole the spotlight in the said category.

Crafted by John Michael Conchada and Jumbo de Belen, “I Feel Good” was the first track released from the group’s second full-length album, dropped in Sept. 2022. Meanwhile, the accompanying music video is a visual feast, immersing viewers in a retro and dreamlike setting where a kaleidoscope of colors bursts onto the screen.

Celebrating their win, the Filipina idols posted on YouTube their “I Feel Good” performance video for the awarding ceremony.
