Kabisera has been making waves in the culinary world, with its current locations at 151 Allen St. and inside the Canal Street Market on 261-267 Canal Street.

The new Gotham West Market location is expected to become a culinary hub, offering the same delightful Filipino-inspired food and pastries that have made Kabisera a favorite among food enthusiasts.

The menu at Kabisera is a fusion of traditional Filipino flavors and contemporary culinary artistry. Some of their offerings include the best-selling kare-kare bento box, pork adobo bento box, lumpiang shanghai bento box, bistek, and pancit. Each dish tells the story of Filipino heritage and a passion for creating unforgettable flavors.

The story of Kabisera’s owner showcases her deep-rooted connection to food and community. Born in the mountainous region of Northern Philippines, Francisco, as she’s affectionately known, grew up on a coffee farm.

Her upbringing exposed her to the authentic process of coffee making, where roasting beans was done under the sun’s heat, and the brewing process involved boiling whole beans over an open flame.

With the upcoming opening of Kabisera in Gotham West Market, New Yorkers can look forward to an exciting culinary adventure that combines authentic Filipino flavors, a commitment to community, and the remarkable journey of Francisco.
