Free healthcare plan is on the horizon for Filipino Americans
Health truly is wealth but you can lose all those savings in a snap if you don’t stay in shape. Good thing for Fil-Ams though as there’s a new healthcare plan that can be availed for free or packages at lower costs.

Chamber Health is the game-changer that could leave health buffs’ and Filipino Americans’ wallets full. Thanks to the Philippine America Chamber of Commerce of Utah, Fil-Am business owners, low-income earners, retirees, and college students without health care plans can now avail a healthcare plan for free.

The Philippine American Chamber of Commerce of Utah (PACCIUTAH) is a nonprofit with the vision to forge connections, build businesses, and celebrate Filipino pride with the goal of turning dreams into reality.

Mary Navalta-Chavan, president of PACCIUTAH (also known as Filipino American Chambers of Commerce of Utah), announced this healthcare venture during their third annual gala on Oct. 14.

“A lot of times when they come here, they don’t even know that they need to get insurance or health care,” Navalta-Chavan told KSL NewsRadio. “If you’re a student, young professional, startups, low-income earners … they can actually get free health care.”

Over four million Fil-Ams live in the US, according to the 2020 Census and Navalta-Chacan aims to help the struggling individuals in the Filipino community who may not be aware of the importance of being health-insured.

While there are no clear details yet about Chamber Health, this affordable and free healthcare package looks promising.
