Baby’s Kusina, a beloved Filipino culinary haven, and Autana Venezuelan Food, known for its delectable Venezuelan cuisine, are coming together for a unique collaboration.

For one special weekend, they will be hosting a kamayan brunch that promises to be a fusion feast like no other.

The event, set on Oct. 7 and 8, brings together the culinary traditions of Venezuela and the Philippines in a celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month and Filipino American History Month. This culinary rendezvous will take place at Autana: 4 Station Road, Ardmore, PA.

The menu for this kamayan brunch includes a tantalizing array of dishes that reflect the rich flavors of both cultures. Guests can indulge in assorted empanaditas, Venezuelan-style shredded beef, tajadas, beans, fried eggs, tomatoes, cucumbers, chicken tocino, garlic fried rice, pork lumpiang shanghai, atchara, and fresh fruit. To complement the meal, Baby’s Kapeng Barako drip and tea will be served, along with cocktails available for purchase, provided by Manatawny Still Works.

What makes this brunch truly special is the kamayan style of dining. Kamayan is a traditional way of eating in the Philippines where guests use their hands instead of utensils. The feast will be laid out on banana leaves to encourage a communal experience.
