LOOK: A Sesame Street shoutout to celebrate Filipino American History Month
While “Sesame Street” makes us nostalgic and takes us back to our childhood, the TV series is even celebrating Filipino American History Month with the Fil-Am community.
Joining the White House in honoring the Filipino American legacy, the legendary children’s show dropped a video clip that would make every Filipino say, “Ayos.”
Over the weekend, Cookie Monster, TJ, the first Filipino-American muppet, and Fil-Am actor Eugene Cordero all gathered to make this month extra special.
In a recent clip, the trio honored the Filipino American community using local lingos like “biskwit” (biscuit) and “ayos” (okay).
