Are Olivia Rodrigo fans getting a ‘Guts’ world tour?
The much awaited follow-up to the Grammys 2022 best pop vocal album “Sour” just landed last week and shook up everyone’s inner teenagers.
Shortly after its release, Olivia Rodrigo’s sophomore album “Guts” egged on listeners to wear their music theorist hats and analyze the detailed narratives stored in the angsty (and sometimes tongue-in-cheek funny) pop rock record that capture growing pains. But in the sea of “what ifs” lies what looks like a puzzle piece to something more exciting: A world tour.
Fans have easily spotted a clue, particularly in the lyric video of track six “Making the Bed,” which chronicles the pop star’s feelings of confusion and being overwhelmed. Apart from flowers, letter rings, and a note, a purple-colored general admission ticket is placed on the side that says, “Olivia Rodrigo presents Guts World Tour,” with Palm Springs, California written as the location.
Of course, the hitmaker’s listeners never miss the chance to shoot the burning question. In fact, the 20-year-old songstress created a TikTok to answer a fan on when she’ll go on tour. Although Rodrigo didn’t give out a specific answer, she did use a trending audio that quipped, “Oh my goodness, I love this question! I think…”
