Philippine Honorary Consulate in Las Vegas is now open for government services
If you’re a Fil-Am resident in Las Vegas or any nearby state, or you just happen to pass by the area and you need to fix some Philippine documents, no need to go farther as the Philippine Honorary Consulate in Las Vegas is now open.
Located at 4045 Spencer St in Las Vegas, NV 89119, this new venture was inaugurated by the Philippine Consulate General in Los Angeles, which held a Consular Outreach Mission last August 12 and 13, 2023.
Amie Belmonte, a formidable presence in Southern Nevada with roots hailing from San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte will stand as the first honorary consul in Las Vegas under Consul General Edgar Badajos’ leadership.
Belmonte was no stranger to leadership. She was the President and Co-Founder of the Filipino American Political Organization with Equal Representation (Fil-Am P.O.W.E.R.), a group dedicated to guiding Filipinos on their journey to US citizenship.

On September 2, Belmonte took the oath of office administered by Consul Maynard Maleon of the Philippine Consulate in Los Angeles. This historic event unfolded amid the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Ilocano American Association of Nevada.
