LOS ANGELES – A free Arts & Humanities virtual Zoom event celebrating the life and work of the Filipino American writer and labor activist Carlos Bulosan’s (1913-1956) views on American democracy will be hosted by the Carlos Bulosan Book Club and The Friends of Echo Park LA Public Library.

Two presentation dates/times are now available, which will feature a Humanities lecture by Bryant University Professor Jeffrey Cabusao and the pre-recorded world premiere performance of an extended musical work by composer Andres R. Luz.

A Q&A panel discussion will follow, including Peter Jamero, a manong-generation associate club member. Emcee-host is Jaime Geaga of the book club.
