From the ‘Golden Hour’ collab to ‘Gento,’ SB19 set Jvke’s final tour stage on fire
After months of playing SB19’s remix for Jvke’s “Golden Hour” on repeat, A’TIN finally got to witness the P-pop group sing it live with the American singer-songwriter on the finale stage of his “What Tour Feels Like” tour in Boston yesterday, Sept. 3.
And the best part? The show was streamed live so fans halfway across the globe were able to cheer for Mahalima, too.
SB19, who were the featured guests of the night, opened the show with powerful performances of their tracks “Gento,” “Bazinga,” “Crimzone,” and “I Want You.”
Fans delightedly note that Pablo proudly said they’re from the “beautiful land of the Philippines” when he introduced the group. Another moment that A’TINs couldn’t help but admire was how Josh and Justin professionally handled a wardrobe malfunction caught by a fan during “Gento.”

SB19 re-entered the stage in the middle of Jvke’s “Golden Hour” rendition to the delight of fans. Adding their own flavor to the track, the boys showcased their rap and harmonizing skills with the kilig-worthy Filipino lyrics. They even wore color-coordinated red and black outfits with Jvke, prompting fans to call him the sixth member of the group.
Among the photos from the concert shared by SB19 is a shot from their “Golden Hour” onstage performance and one with the crowd. “What an honor sharing the stage with JVKE for his epic ‘What Tour Feels Like’ finale at House of Blues Boston! Thank you all for making it an unforgettable night!” they wrote in the caption.

This isn’t the first time that the group sang “Golden Hour” live in the West. SB19 performed it in the Los Angeles and Toronto legs of their own “Pagtatag” United States and Canada tour.
Does this show mark the end of SB19’s 2023 US and Canada domination? Maybe. But they’ve certainly made their mark with a strong impression and a growing fanbase behind their back.
