Yahoo just dropped an AI email assistant (and it’s Gmail-friendly)
If you could launch a thousand emails, rummaging through them when searching for something might take eons. Here comes Yahoo AI email assistant to the rescue. And the catch? It’s Gmail-friendly compatible too.
Yahoo is stepping up their game with a cutting-edge AI Email assistant created to boost your email experience. Say goodbye to endless scrolling when searching, and hello to a smarter option of looking at your inboxes.
This AI-powered tool has features that can help you sift through your haystack of emails. With its revamped search bar, your Yahoo AI email assistant will suggest questions to help you find what you need in a snap.
Whether you’re searching for your flight details or credit card bills, the answers will pop up alongside the emails where these details originated from.
No more keyword searches — simply ask, and it will show you the result. Plus, there are new filters that will make narrowing down results a breeze. From, to, and date filters? This new AI tool has got it covered.
In addition, Yahoo’s writing assistant can now craft responses and email drafts in varying tones, from urgent to grateful and even apologetic.
According to Yahoo, almost half of all US adults have stashed away unused store credits and gift cards. Imagine the possibilities of getting those funds back, and this is where the Shopping Saver Tool comes in.
Josh Jacobson, senior Vice President and general manager of Yahoo Mail, said in news release on Monday, “In total, US consumers have $23 billion in unused gift cards and credits, and we hope our new tools will help users gain a fraction of that back in their wallets.”
This Yahoo AI email assistant’s shopping saver tool digs up those hidden discount codes and gift cards and even writes messages to vendors for you. It’s like having a personal assistant who will create your message to the sellers to help you use those savings after every purchase.
The assistant is part of a suite of AI tools unveiled Monday as an opt-in beta for Yahoo Mail users, including those who use Yahoo’s platform to access email from other providers like Google or Microsoft. https://t.co/lRnKKwGUHq

With Yahoo’s AI prowess, they’ve teamed up with Google Cloud’s AI platform to make these game-changing features. What’s even better? These technology wonders were initially tested with iOS users, but now, they’re available for use across other web browsers.
While Yahoo hasn’t announced the AI email assistant’s release date yet and is currently in beta mode, we’ll be waiting for this future of emails, one AI-powered message at a time.
