“Sarina has had an aggressive travel schedule over the past month with trips to and from Manila and Australia,” said FilAmSports.com co-founder Bo Navarro.

“Once she heard about the opportunity to participate in the San Francisco Giants’ Filipino Heritage Night, which is coordinated by the Filipino American Arts Exposition, she immediately booked her flight to San Francisco,” Navarro added. “Besides her family being supporters of the Giants, she understands how important it is for her to support the community, particularly her hometown.”

“It’s great to see the hard work that Sarina has put in is paying off,” states Ed Lasquete, co-founder of FilAmSports.com. “She is writing the blueprint for our athletes to follow and will serve as a great role model for any young woman that they too can excel on the international stage.”

“Filipinos worldwide are proud of Sarina and Team Filipinas’ historic journey to the World Cup and their impact on inspiring future generations of soccer players in the Philippines,” said Al Perez, president of the Filipino American Arts Exposition, which organizes San Francisco’ annual Pistahan Parade & Festival
