Rosa Rodriguez was floating on air after winning $1 million in the British Columbia lottery. BCLC
Rosa Rodriguez is going for a visit to the Philippines, build a new house there, renovate her home in Coquitlam, British Columbia, Canada, and take a trip to Singapore where she met her husband.
She can afford it because she won $1 million in the BC Lottery.
Rodriguez won the July 8, 2023, Lotto 6/49 draw. She bought her ticket from the London Drugs in Coquitlam Centre.

She thought she won only $1,000 because “I was too short to see the scanner so I had to lean up and scan again — I could not believe I just won $1 million!” she told BC Lottery.
To her surprise, she counted three extra zeros in realizing she won $1 million from Lotto 6/49.
“I could not believe I just won a million dollars,” Rodriguez said in a release from the BC Lottery Corporation (BCLC). She was still floating in air, she said.
