SF Pistahan Parade & Festival weekend kicks off Aug. 12
SAN FRANCISCO – Pistahan Parade and Festival, the largest celebration of Filipino art, culture, dance, food and music in the U.S., is happening at the Yerba Buena Gardens, kicking off on Saturday, Aug. 12.
For the fourth year, global audiences can live stream the two-day event via Kumu, Facebook Live, and YouTube Live.
The Pistahan Parade that starts the festival weekend on Saturday, Aug. 12 displays Filipino community pride and diversity, featuring festive floats, cultural dance groups, musical performances, and community organizations. The Parade will begin at the Civic Center, proceed along Market Street, and end at Yerba Buena Gardens.
