Tullius said she and her parents attended a Fourth of July parade in Anacortes and then returned home. Without his family’s knowledge, Aberilla left his daughter’s home and asked a neighbor to drop him off at Bellingham Lowe’s at about 4 p.m.

Aberilla primarily speaks Filipino but knows a little English. Investigators say he is unfamiliar with the Bellingham area and are concerned he may have gotten another ride.

He was last seen wearing a dark blue Fourth of July shirt, brown shorts, and carried a black cross-body bag.
