Sisig on pizza? Two SF restaurants team up for a Filipino-Mexican pizza
A few months ago, three Filipino pizzerias made it to the 50 Top Pizza List in Asia. Now it looks like our flavors are set to go further. San Francisco’s Square Pie Guys is teaming up with Filipino fusion food brand Señor Sisig for a limited-edition Detroit-style Filipino-Mexican pizza.
Eater reports that the collaboration will be called “Sisig Pie Guys” and will be available on Square Pie Guys’ menu from July 19 to Oct. 18.

The Filipino-Mexican pizza uses Square Pie Guys’ Detroit pizza base with a creamy white sauce, pork shoulder sisig, caramelized onions, cherry tomato, pickled and diced jalapenos, and a drizzle of salsa verde. The pizza brand teased the upcoming collaboration on Instagram on July 1 with a peek at the upcoming pizza flavor.
A percentage of sales from the special collaboration will also go to a local charity called City Eats, which aims to address food insecurity in the city.
