HONOLULU —  A Filipino teenager was shot dead allegedly by another teen at Makaha Beach Park in Waianae, Oahu, Sunday morning, May 21.

Miguel Agoo Jr., 17, was pronounced dead at the scene when police officers arrived at around 1 a.m.

Honolulu police arrested the suspect, a 16-year-old boy, on Sunday night. His name was not released. The suspect and Agoo reportedly were arguing before the shooting.

Police told KITV4 the suspect left the scene with another man in a white vehicle, which was later found on fire near the end of Waianae Valley road. KITV4 said the Honolulu Police crime map shows nearly 50 crimes were reported in the area within the last week.

Miguel Agoo Jr. was the youngest of 8 siblings. His sister Faith Simeona-Agoo has set up a Gofundme page to help the family prepare his funeral.
