Why Zendaya Skipped the 2023 Oscars
“Euphoria” actress Zendaya is well-known for strutting down award shows’ red carpets with her unconventional but killer outfits. How come she missed the Oscars 2023?
Fans were brokenhearted. Both Zendaya and Tom Holland were absent from this year’s Academy Awards night. At last year’s Oscars, Zendaya graced the red carpet wearing a shimmering silver shirt with a silk cropped top.
However, the actress decided to skip the Oscars 2023 and chose to live her life instead. The lovebirds are enjoying some couple time together in London.

One online user commented, “The arms swinging 😩🫶.” Another one said, “I love them soooo much ❤️❤️.”
Fans have spotted the two shopping with Nikki Holland, Tom’s mom. They were strolling at Richmond Park as they leisurely passed the Waterstones.
As followers and fans are dismayed by their absence at Oscars 2023, they’re equally happy for the couple.

According to Glamour, the 26-year-old actress was present at Paris Fashion Week. She donned a unique animal print during the Louis Vuitton Fall collection fashion show.
Zendaya loved the outfit much that she posted a photo of it alongside her dog, Noon. She captioned, “Look who came with me to Paris…”

In addition, Zendaya also attended the SAG 2023 Awards. She wore a light pink Valentino gown with rose embellishments. While at the Paris Fashion Week, she wore a body suit paired with short shorts from Valentino.

Oscars 2023 wasn’t the only major awards night that the actress didn’t attend. She was also absent at the Golden Globes last January. But she won the Best Performance by an Actress Award for Euphoria.
A representative received the award on her behalf. Jay Ellis, together with Glen Powell, presented the award.
He said, “Zendaya couldn’t be with us tonight, so we are going to accept this award on her behalf. She’s busy. She’s working, y’all. It’s a good thing.”
Her absence from the Oscars 2023 proves her active life. Aside from being busy with love and life, Zendaya is also busy with her career. She has two movies for release this year, the Dune sequel and the Challengers.
