Neighbor shoots up family gathering in Hawaii wounding 3
A neighbor opened fire on a family gathering in Ewa Beach in Oahu, Hawaii, sending three people to the hospital, one of them in critical condition with gunshot wounds.
Nazer Pitpit said friends and family were celebrating the birth of his two-month-old son Tuesday night, March 7, when he heard what sounded like two very loud fireworks, reported KHON2 News.
Nazer yelled out not to set off fireworks near them. He said the next thing he knew was the neighbor opened his door, holding a gun, and started firing.
Pitpit was grazed under his left eye and received stitches. A friend guest was shot near his ribs. His father-in-law will need surgery.
Pitpit said the neighbor had a grudge and that he had an argument with him two months back.
Police came and arrested the suspect for three counts of attempted murder.
