One of her most recent projects was the hit HBO series “Big Little Lies,” in which she played the character of Celeste Wright. Her co-star in the show was Zoë Kravitz, who played the role of Bonnie Carlson.

Her Relationship with Zoë Kravitz

During an interview with Elle in January 2020, Nicole Kidman expressed that her relationship with Zoë Kravitz has grown to that of a big sister rather than a former stepmother.

In a 2017 interview with Entertainment Tonight, she said, “I love her. She’s a wonderful girl, and I feel lucky to have her in my life. We’re very, very close.” Kidman also praised Kravitz’s talent and work ethic: “She’s an incredible actress and a great person to work with.”

She mentioned feeling protective towards Zoë and admired her confidence and grace in carving out her path. Kidman acknowledged that while Zoë was experiencing success, she believed it was only the beginning, and her stardom would continue to grow.

Zoë Kravitz has also spoken about her previous relationship with the 55-year-old actress. She said, “I hadn’t seen [Kidman] in a long time before Big Little Lies, but there was a point where we were all living together. I was about 13, and she would take me to see movies; she was so nice to me. We just clicked. We’ve always been close.”

Kravitz also spoke about how Kidman helped her through a difficult time during the show’s filming [Big Little Lies]. She was a huge support system for me during this process. I was going through many changes in my personal life, and she was always there for me.”

The actress acknowledged being a “grumpy teenager” when she first met Nicole. She and the actress have always held a great deal of respect and admiration for each other.

“She’s so good that sometimes it was distracting. After every take, I wanted to stop and say, ‘Wow,'” Zoë remarked about Nicole during their feature in Elle.

Meanwhile, Nicole continued, “She’s a triple threat because she can dance, sing, and act. She is deeply feminine, and she always smells so good!” It is clear that despite the failed engagement between Lenny Kravitz and Lisa Bonet, Nicole Kidman and Zoë Kravitz have maintained a strong bond over the years.
