Insiders Claim Chris Rock Has an Unhealthy Obsession with Jada Pinkett Smith
After making brutal comments about Jada Pinkett Smith during his live Netflix special “Selective Outrage,” Chris Rock is now accused of being obsessed with her.
Insiders say Chris Rock had an obsession with Pinkett Smith for years, and his behavior towards her has become increasingly concerning.
According to sources close to the pair, Rock’s obsession with Pinkett Smith began while filming the 2001 movie “Down to Earth,” in which they both starred.

One year following the incident where Will Smith came on stage at the Oscars and hit Chris, the comedian finally spoke out about the controversial moment.
The 58-year-old comedian said the slap “still hurts” before making a series of offensive jokes about Will and Jada’s marriage.
A source close to Jada has criticized Chris for his remarks and stated that the comedian has no involvement in the conflict between Chris and her husband.
“Jada has had no part in all this other than being mocked. Chris is obsessed with her, which has been going on for nearly 30 years.”

How It Started
In his special, Chris Rock asserted that Jada deserved to be the target of jokes, contending that she started the controversy by urging him to “quit the Oscars.”
Chris said: “Years ago, his wife said I should quit the Oscars. I shouldn’t host because her man did not get nominated for ‘Concussion.’ And then he gave me a f***ing concussion.”
However, the source close to Jada refuted this: “She never asked Chris not to host ever. She publicly said in a Facebook post that Chris would be a great Oscars host and is perfect for the job.”
“Back in 2016, she helped start a movement with the Academy Awards by questioning why there are so few Black members, and Chris took it to this?” the source added.

Rock also said in the special, “I made some jokes about her. Who gives a f**k? That’s how it is: She starts it, I finish it,” Rock said. “That’s what the f**k happened.”
“Nobody’s pickin’ on this b*tch. She started this s**t. Nobody was pickin’ on her,” Rock said during the 90-minute special.
The source claimed they “were shocked at how often Chris used the word bitch in referring to Jada.”
Some also believe that Jada is looking forward in life and is trying to focus on the launch of her upcoming book.
Looking Back
It has been almost a year since Will Smith, Jada’s spouse of over 25 years, walked onto the Oscar stage and hit Chris Rock in the face after he joked about Jada’s hair loss condition, even though she had already revealed that she has alopecia.

The Oscars ceremony approaches this weekend, and organizers are implementing measures to prevent a recurrence of last year’s unexpected occurrence.
