Courteney Cox Reacts to Prince Harry’s ‘Magic Mushroom’ Claims
Courteney Cox responded to one of the trending anecdotes from Prince Harry’s tell-all book, “Spare.”
The Duke of Sussex recalled “gobbling” magic mushroom’s at the actress’s house in 2016. Later, Cox confirmed the royal stayed at her home.
However, she denied ever “passing out” psychedelics. “I’m not saying there were mushrooms! I definitely wasn’t passing them out.”

Prince Harry’s “Spare” details his various experiences as British royalty. It also told stories about his interactions with others.
Its story about “gobbling” psychedelic mushrooms captured people’s attention online. Harry said a friend of a friend invited him to crash at Cox’s house.
That other person said Courteney Cox was not at home, but it didi not dissuade Prince Harry.
“No complaints from me. As a Friends fanatic, the idea of crashing at Monica’s was highly appealing,” he said.
Harry added, “And amusing. But then… Courteney turned up. I was very confused. Was her job canceled?”
“I didn’t think it was my place to ask. More: Does this mean we have to leave?”, the royal said.
“She smiled. ‘Of course not Harry. Plenty of room,’” he recalled. “Great. But I was still confused because.. She was Monica, and I was a Chandler.”
“Was there enough tequila in California to get me that brave?,” he wondered. Then, Harry recaleld meeting the actor Will Arnett at Cox’s house.
Harry said Arnett indulged him by doing “the voice” which the actor used in the Lego Batman movie.
Later, Arnett allegedly went to the fridge where the royal and his friend discovered “a huge box of black diamond mushroom chocolates.”
“Somebody behind me said they were for everybody. Help yourself, boys. My mate and I grabbed several, gobbled them, washed them down with tequila.”
Later, the Duke realized the mushrooms had taken effect during his trip to the toilet.
He described his experience by writing, “I stared at the bin. It stared back. Then, it became… a head.”
Harry added, “I stepped on the pedal and the head opened its mouth. A huge open grim, I laughed, turned away, took a piss. Now, the loo [toilet] became a head too.”
