More details about Tom Hanks, Steven Spielberg, and Guillermo del Toro
Tom Hanks was with his wife, Rita Wilson, while talking with the famous directors outside Scott’s. The 66-year-old actor had worked with Steven Spielberg on various projects.
Hanks starred in his 1998 war epic Saving Private Ryan, 2002 film Catch Me If You Can, and the 2015 historical movie Bridge of Spies.
Meanwhile, Spielberg was with her actress wife, Kate Capshaw. They met while he was forming a cast list for Indiana Jones and The Temple of Doom.
She also starred in that 1984 film. Also, renowned filmmaker Guillermo Del Toro was with her second wife, Kim Morgan.
He was the director behind the Oscar-winning 2017 movie The Shape of Water. Hanks ate with his friends after watching the football team Aston Villa face Arsenal at Villa Park Stadium.
Tom Hanks was a vocal Aston Villa fan, so he felt devastated when the game ended with a 2-4 result.
Based on recent photos, he was wearing a navy quarter-zip, a white shirt, and a burgundy tie. Moreover, it seems it was the first time he visited the stadium.
The Forrest Gump star clapped as Aston Villa scored. However, the score evened out 1-1 when Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka scored in the 16th minute.
Aston Villa made a comeback with a score in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, Arsenal proceeded to secure three more points later in the game.
He couldn’t hide his frustration as he hoped Aston Villa would win in the first half. Then, he waved and took out his phone to take pictures of the game.
Later, Tom Hanks spent time with the players. They tweeted, “It’s a pleasure to have you with us at Villa Park @tomhanks.”
Overall, the eve of February 21 was eventful for Tom Hanks, Guillermo del Toro, Steven Spielberg, and everyone at Scott’s restaurant.
