Tech billionaire and co-founder of Microsoft Bill Gates split with his wife Melinda Gates two years ago. He is now believed to be in a relationship with Paula Hurd.
The woman in question is Paula Hurd. She is the widow of Mark Hurd, former CEO of Oracle and one-time Hewlett-Packard boss.
Gates was previously married to Melinda in a marriage that lasted 27 years before the two called it quits in August 2021, noting in a statement that “we no longer believe we can grow together as a couple….”

“After much thought and a lot of work on our relationship, we have decided to end our marriage,” the former couple and founders of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation said then in a statement.
“Over the past 27 years, we have raised three incredible kids and built a foundation that works worldwide to enable all people to lead healthy, productive lives,” they added.
In recent outings, gates and Hurd have been enjoying each other’s company. They were spotted last month at the Australian Open.
Melinda Gates, 67, wore a casual green sweater over a collared shirt, while Paula, 60, put on a black ensemble complemented with a glitzy gold chain.
Sources also saw them taking leisure strolls around Melbourne. Many believed that the pair have been dating for more than a year now.

Paula Hurd is the Former Oracle CEO, Mark Hurd’s Widow
Before Hurd met Bill Gates, she married Mark Hurd, who passed away due to an illness in October 2019 at 62.
Although reports didn’t disclose Hurd’s disease, other sources said it is cancer. He married Paula in 1990, and they have two daughters, Kathryn and Kelly.
She is a Techie too.
Hurd and Gates share a similar background in tech. She was formerly a tech executive at NCR Global, a digital banking software company. Hurd worked there for 17 years until she left in 2001.
She Studied Business and is a Philanthropist
She studied business administration at the University of Texas. Furthermore, she currently works as a philanthropist and event planner.

She describes herself as a “developer and convener of memorable mid- and large-scale experiences for personal, corporate, and charitable occasions.” She is also a coordinator for the event space: Club 27.
In addition, Hurd sits as a portfolio manager for Hurd Family Investments. She is on the Board of Regents at Baylor University and works as a volunteer and philanthropist at MPH Investments.
She has quite a lot on her plate if you ask me, making one wonder how she can juggle work and play.
Another thing Gates and Hurd have in common is a love for tennis. The public have often seen the pair enjoying the sport together.
Even during her marriage, Hurd and her husband attended several tennis games together. One such time she ran into Gates in California, where they happened to be seating in the same box.
In February, a source told People, “It’s widely known that Bill Gates and Paula Hurd are dating, but she hasn’t met his kids yet.”
Gates has three children with his ex-wife Melinda: two daughters, Jennifer, 26, and Phoebe, 20, and a son, Rory, 23.
