Filipino kid singer Peter Rosalita returned to “America’s Got Talent All-Stars” 2023 edition with more powerful singing. He stunned the judges and audiences with a performance earning him a standing ovation for the night.

Peter Rosalita was born in Abu Dhabi. He first competed in 2021’s season 16 of the show. Rosalita belted out his rendition of Celine Dion’s “All By Myself,” to which Cowell commented that it “literally gave me goosebumps.”

The singer continued until the competition’s semi-final round. However, he lost the finals to a much older contestant, Dustin Tavella.

During this season’s AGT, the 11-year-old singer sang an impressive version of Michael Bolton’s classic “Go the Distance” while dressed in a cream suit. The video was released on Saturday.

The three judges of the show, Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum, and Howie Mandel, were impressed by his performance that all three gave him a standing ovation.

Klum said, “You are a star in the making. You really came here to fight, and I loved that about you.” While Mandel commented, “Well done, young man, really well done!”

Moreover, Cowell asked Rosalita, “You’ve come back here to compete again (but) what’s your dream, Peter?”
The boy replied, “My dream is to become an international singer and have my own album.”

Rosalita also answered when asked if he was still anxious in this audition, even after his stage experience in the past. “It’s very nerve-wracking… More nervous here. Like right now, I have sort of a sore throat.”

Host Mandel was surprised to know this; he said, “You said that you were really nervous… and have a really sore throat. That was amazing without knowing all that. But knowing all that and your age? Well done, young man, well done!”

Klum followed, saying, “You are a star in the making. You really came here to fight, and I loved that about you,”

In addition, Cowell applauded Rosalita for his improvement: “Your voice has actually got better. I know there’s still a lot from you to come. Having said that, that might be enough to put you through to the finals.”

Rosalita said, “This is my second chance, and I’m going to make sure that there will be no hiccups.” During a pre-interview, Rosalita recalled his previous AGT performance. He is more confident now without any indications that his well-known hiccup on stage affected him before.
