John Legend and Chrissy Teigen share first photo of their baby girl
John Legend and Chrissy Teigen welcomed a new member of the family. This week, the couple had their new baby girl and shared a glimpse of the adorable child.
On Aug.22, Chrissy Teigen announced her pregnancy on social media. She also admitted going through IVF treatments. The couple was ecstatic with the positive news back then after undergoing a miscarriage in 2020.
John Legend confirmed the birth of their new baby on Jan.13 while he was in a private concert. The cookbook author shared their new baby’s first photo on Instagram. In addition, she also revealed their daughter’s name Esti Maxine Stephens.

Teigen shared a photo of their daughter, Luna Simone, 6 1/2 years, son Miles Theodore, 4 1/2 while holding their new sister. Teigen wrote, “She’s here! Esti Maxine Stephens – the house is bustling, and our family could not be happier 💕.”
She added, “Daddy sheds nightly tears of joy seeing Luna and Miles so full of love, and I am learning you still need diapers with a c-section!? We are in bliss,” she continued. “Thank you for all the love and well wishes – we feel it all! X.”

Legend also shared the same photo on his social media account. He captioned, “On Friday, we welcomed Esti Maxine Stephens to our family, and our house is overflowing with love and joy.”
He continued, “I’m in awe of Chrissy’s strength and resilience, and I’m so thrilled to see how Luna and Miles embrace their baby sister. I’m so, so grateful, but that doesn’t seem like a big enough word…,”
Moreover, a source told PEOPLE that the couple is happy to welcome another baby. The source said, “They both really wanted to add another baby to the family. It’s been a long road,”

In September, the couple shared how they have “grown as parents.” Legend said, “We’ve spent quite a bit of time with our kids now, Luna is 6, and Miles is 4, so we’ve grown as parents, and we’re ready to bring another baby into the world.”
In addition, Legend also said that they “envision growing old together, having three or four kids and having them come over for Sunday dinner, having grandkids when the time is right.”
Teigen revealed that she gave birth through C-section. She said that “Daddy sheds nightly tears of seeing Luna and Miles so full of love.”
