“This project hit home and my heart,” Alex Rolluda, President of Rolluda Architects, told HumanGood. “The adjacent Filipino Community Center was frequented by my parents back in the ‘60s and ‘70s. Everyone there was our Tito or Tita (uncle or aunt), we felt safe and at home.”

HumanGood and Filipino Community Village recently released a multi-award-winning documentary about the building’s cultural mural, painted by internationally renowned Filipino artist Eliseo Art Silva.
