Go City Review: Is the pass good value for money?

/ 12:21 AM December 02, 2022

With big attractions, buzzing nightlife, and nearby natural wonders – it’s fair to say that Las Vegas doesn’t do things by halves. With so much to see and do, a trip to Sin City can quickly put a sizeable dent in your wallet – even if you don’t hit the Blackjack table!

In a bid to try and save some money on our recent Las Vegas vacation, we decided to check out Go City. Their Las Vegas sightseeing pass lets you tick off the city’s best attractions, all for one price. But is the pass really good value for money? Read on to hear our honest review.

First off, how does it work?

First off, how does Go City it work?

Go City offers two types of passes. The All-Inclusive Pass allows you to select the number of days you wish to use it for, and then you can visit as many of the included attractions as you wish. If you’ve got a bit more time or just want to sightsee at a slower pace, their Explorer Pass lets you visit between two and seven attractions over a 60-day period.

Once you’ve decided which pass works best for your trip, you can buy it in advance and download it to the Go City app. This is what you’ll use to enter your chosen attractions. Plus, it’s full of the necessary info, including addresses and opening hours.

What attractions are included?

There are loads of cool activities included with a Go City attraction pass. From popular observation decks like the High Roller Observation Wheel and SkyPod at THE STRAT to bus tours and bar crawls, there is plenty to keep you entertained.

Tick off famous spots like the nearby Hoover Damm and the Strip’s iconic Eiffel Tower, or, opt for something completely different like the Mob Museum or an exciting escape room!

If you buy a 3, 4, or 5-day All-Inclusive Pass, you can also choose one of seven Premium attractions. These bucket list experiences include a full-day Grand Canyon tour, Blue Man Group tickets, and even a helicopter ride!

We went for the Las Vegas All-inclusive pass option to try and get the most bang for our buck. You need to have a well-planned itinerary to really get the most out of this, so we believed we could fit in a good amount over 3 days.

How much can you save?

How much can you save with GoCity?

It’s amazing how much we saved with Go City versus paying for individual attraction tickets. We purchased three-day All-Inclusive passes for $249 each and were able to do three activities a day, including a walking tour, a zipline experience, and a couple of evening shows.

We also managed to fit in several museums and some fun, family-friendly attractions. If we had visited all these places without a pass, it would have cost us an eye-watering $582 each, so we saved well over 50% on our entry tickets.

So, what’s the verdict?

We found this pass to be the best way to sightsee if you want to max out your stay in Vegas. It may not be a first-choice option for those with the tightest of budgets, but if you want to see and do as much as you can efficiently, then it is easily the best choice.

We were busy covering a lot of attractions, but we saved a ton on our trip, found the pass was also easy to use and included everything we wanted to see – plus some attractions we would not have otherwise discovered.

Go City have passes in over 30 cities worldwide, including New York, Los Angeles, London, and many more. So, we recommend you check them out if you are interested in cutting down the cost of your attractions during your next vacation.
