Hollywood star Julia Fox shared how her relationship with Kanye West affected her career, during Emily Ratajkowski’s “High Low with EmRata” podcast.
The Uncut Gems star admitted that her time with Ye did not help her acting prospects. Fox said, “After the big relationship, I definitely noticed a shift in the acting way, not in a good way.”
“I’m not getting as many offers as I was before, weirdly. There’s been a lot of weird drawbacks with reaching that level of notoriety.”

Fox, 32, briefly dated West, 45, in early 2022 after Kim Kardashian filed for a divorce from him in February 2021.
Page Six said the relationship lasted for six weeks until Ye shared a series of Instagram posts to try and win back his then-estranged wife.
The IG posts got deleted since then. Eventually, Julia Fox cut her relationship with Kanye West. She said, “I’m so busy. I think things come to you at the right time, so that’s why I’m really not stressing. I really don’t care.”
In September 2022, the multi-Grammy winner said she felt “proud” of herself for distancing from Ye in February after the “first sign of a red flag.”
She told ES Magazine that West had “unresolved issues that he was dealing with.” Fox explained, “It just seems like he had a lot to work on, and I just don’t have time for it or energy.”
“[I do not] have the bandwidth or emotional capacity for it. I’m proud of myself for that. However, Fox admitted her past with Kanye could affect how Hollywood higher-ups see her.
Julia Fox understands that they may view her as a “tabloid-type person” or a “liability.” Still, the 32-year-old actress affirmed, “I just have to trust the process.”
